3D Sketches

Design Inspiration

My project was inspired by the canadian artist, Chris Dorosz. Attached are some of his works.

Design Intentions

I envisaged this design as a multi-dimensional lattice, that has the ability to store vast amounts of data. To show this visually, it was important to enter inside the lattice and vividly display the connections between the different moving structures. It was also important to display this as a finite model, showing that the data storage device does in fact have a limit. The contrast of solid triangles with large empty frame-work creates an interesting perspective, which also allows the viewer to visually enter the model in an interactive way.
